Dr. Bryan D. Granger is the son of lifelong Iberia Parish residents,
Gwendolyn Gonsoulin Granger and Thomas "Tommy" I. Granger.

Dr. Granger is a 1985 graduate of Jeanerette Senior High School, and
received the Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Houston on
May 15, 1999. He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Optometry from
the University of Houston and an Associate of Science Degree in Biology and
Chemistry from Midland College in Midland, Texas. Dr. Granger completed his
clinical internships at the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Texas
Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas; Indian Health Services / Blackfeet
Community Hospital, Browning, Montana; Keesler Medical Center, Keesler Air
Force Base, Biloxi, Mississippi,
and Maddox Laser Vision Center, El Paso,
Texas.
Upon
completion of his training, Dr. Granger joined a prominent East Texas
Ophthalmology group where he operated a satellite clinic in the Dallas,
Texas area for 4 1/2
years. |

He has received letters of clinical excellence and was named to the
Dean's List of Optometry and the National Dean's list for Undergraduate
Studies for two years.
Dr.
Bryan Granger was the recipient of the Permian Honor Scholarship and
Murray Fasken Foundation Memorial Scholarship. He is a member of Phi
Theta Kappa Honor Society, American Optometric Association,
Optometry Association of Louisiana, and Lion's Club International.
He is a veteran of the United States Air Force where he achieved the
rank of sergeant and received the Air Force Achievement Medal and
Good Conduct Medal.
